After a solid week of sleeping and eating I'm feeling fit and ready to go again. I'm looking forward to this stretch, it's going to be easy riding along the Canal du Midi all the way to Narbonne on the Mediterranean coast.
A beautiful spring day in France, the coquelicots are in full bloom, I fly along the canal. It turns out to be a big day: 174 kilometers to Avignonet, well past Toulouse. It doesn't feel like 174 kilometers though because it is almost entirely flat.
