'Day off' in Saint George: Chores, chores, chores...

I wake up at nine. Checkout time is 11 and I've got to fix the bike, take a shower, pack my stuff, etc... it doesn't take me long to wimp out and pay for another night at the motel. I need the rest.

After breakfast I set to work on the bike. The jockey wheels go on easy. First time I had ever replaced some. Slap on the chain and the drive train feels great, hasn't been this smooth since Mexico. When I go to put on my new pedals I quickly discover that they have 1/2 inch threads. It didn't even occur to me to check yesterday, I though they were all 9/16ths. A quick ride back to the bike shop remedies that problem.

Got a new dry bag to use as the tent stuff sack. The old one was all torn up.
