My projects in Taipei are finished: time to cycle. I've thoroughly enjoyed the day trips and short overnighters that I've done on the bicycle while in Taipei so I'm looking forward to getting out to explore the whole island. It's not a very large place and I've got plenty of time so I should be able to see the whole thing in detail. The plan is to take a train down to Yilan to avoid riding through the city (which I've done so many times I'm quite sick of it), then ride south down along the eastern coast.
