...and I'm back out the other side into the desert on the eastern shore of Alamo Lake. The location of this sign cracks me up. If you arrive in this direction you've just driven/ridden some hellaciously rocky roads, thick sand, vicious grades, forded a river... and this sign marks the beginning of a wide, graded dirt road.
