I get an appointment for 12h15 at the local BMW dealer for an oil and filter change at 125,232 miles. Castrol GT 20/50. Have them top off the coolant. Most expensive oil change of my life. While I'm there I meet an American guy who's looking for a tire. He and some friends are doing a motorcycle/dancing tour of Europe. They are going to Helsinki then Russia next. We talk for a while about riding in Europe, they came over with Mandel from Vancouver. Balloons over the city at night.

Today's mission: laundry. And it isn't easy. Apparently they aren't too fond of coin operated laundromats in Sweden. Finally find a Tvättomat where a woman directs traffic with the machines and dryers. Long nap in the afternoon.

I meet an Australian girl named Fred, we hang out for a few days. Ride up to the cliff Södermalm again. Go for crepes on Svartensgatan, run by a bunch of French guys. All the other people eating at the tables around us are French as well. I ask them how they found the place: Guide du Routard just like me, laughs. Good food and finally an espresso machine to top it off.
