We are three today, Eon has joined us for the ride from the coast back up to his house in a small village in the hills. We've got bright sunshine, a nice change of pace from the overcast and rainy weather we've had so far. The day starts out with a brilliant breakfast followed by a late start. A winning combination.
The 30 kilometer ride down the coast goes fast with the wind at our backs. Then we turn into the hills where the grades slow us down to a crawl.
We have taken a sharp right turn and are headed northeast up the western side of the mountains that separate the Beinan River Valley from the coast. I see some monkeys in the trees but they scramble away before I can take a picture.
We visit the local thermal baths to ease the aching muscles. It works like a charm, I wish every day on tour ended with a hot spring.
